Piled Raft Foundation & Groundworks Package in Brighton
This project involved delivering a specialist groundwork and foundation package for a new-build timber-framed residential property in Brighton. Our scope of works included the installation of a piled raft foundation system, reinforced concrete slab construction, and all associated drainage infrastructure. With challenging ground conditions requiring a robust structural solution, a piled raft foundation was specified to ensure long-term stability and load distribution for the timber-framed superstructure.
The Project

- 40 CFA piles – Installation of 40 CFA piles to engineer’s specification
- Pile Trimming – Pile trimming and integration for raft connection
- Reinforced slab - Steel frame installation – taking responsibility for supply, erection, and final delivery of the structural steel package.
- Excavation – Excavation, formation prep, and shuttering
- Concrete pour – Full reinforcement installation and concrete pour
- Drainage – Foul and surface water drainage systems
- External works – Connections prepared for superstructure and external works
